Controls

What's simulated

Battery: voltage curve, internal resistance and polarisation. The pack sags under load and recovers when you lift. Less voltage means less top speed, and it gets worse as charge drops.
Motors and controller: back-EMF, current limits and heat. Hot motors lose power. Turbo mode is fast but cooks them.
Brakes: regen on the first part of the lever, then hydraulic discs. Overheated pads fade, the fluid can boil and a cooked disc starts to judder.
Tyres: grip depends on temperature, load and wear. Braking and leaning share the same grip.
Two wheels: you lean to turn. Brakes, throttle and lean share the grip, so trail braking or early throttle runs you a little wide. Weight transfer can lift a wheel and the deck can scrape.
Knee out: hold it in tight corners to hang off and drag a knee. The scooter stays more upright, so the deck scrapes later. Elsewhere the rider pushes his hips to the outside.
